Its good to see the club being honest with the slogan.
Over the last 15 years there have only been âmomentsâ when they have been mighty. There have been precious few games of four quarters of sustained effort let alone mightiness.

EFC 2020 - cleaning up the bin chickens
A weird thing happened to me last night when I read the âMighty Momentsâ membership slogan. I guess that it must have been related to the MM acronym. I started brainstorming MM acronyms.
The first one that came to mind was Magic Mushrooms. Psilocybe argentipes are Japanese magic mushrooms that thrive near cedar trees. There are quite a few cedar trees in the hills behind my home. I may go foraging shortly. 
MM = millimeters of rain. We had 1000mm of rain in 24 hours during the recent typhoon. Thatâs almost 2 years worth of Melbourneâs rainfall in a day.
MM = Mad Max. âHey, fella! Youâre a turkey (said Goose)â.
MM = Mad Magazine. Used to collect them as a kid.
MM = Motherâs Milk. Red Hot Chili Peppers album I have on vinyl & was listening to the other day.
MM = Magic Mike. Crazy American magician I used to live with 15 years ago.
MM = Mighty Moments. A trip I once took to Vietnam andâŚoh waitâŚthat one is taken.

One of my mates is referred to as Magic Mike. Canadian.
He talks relentlessly when he has partaken of the MM you mention in your second para.
At those times I like to tell him that heâs behaving in a particularly American manner and should desist.
