Dunkley requesting trade is not going to see the Dogs release a statement going “Thats dissapointing but sure why not”

Players & their managers don’t try to do these things if it’s not a real possibility. Not like this is a shock announcement either. This has been circulating for weeks now so there has been all the discussions with the club/coach/CEO etc, they wouldn’t do it unless confident it can happen.

Dogs were probably well aware the request was coming. Have responded. Let the fans come to terms with possibility of. Dogs stance begins to soften, scenarios around how they can best come out of situation. Fans thinking what players/picks they might then be able to get as a result of. Dogs eventually yield.

You’d have to trade Tippa and pick 30 for Dunkley if you are Dodo. Unfortunately dogs will want that plus a 1st rounder.
