Hobbs might pick up a vote or 2 in his rookie season according to @Saucy

Hobbs will win the Brownlow and the Coleman

Even @Saucy would think that’s a stretch …

@bidzy, please.

Don’t bring me into this.

@Saucy oh please

I think you should win it.

Only paying 10-1 is great odds

I believe @Saucy is completely in the lid-off camp this season

Bloody hell it’s an even competition these days, the afl must be loving it. Years ago you could easily pencil in a top and bottom 4, now it’s near impossible and pretty much every team could effectively make the 8 next year.

If bidzy’s right, Gold Coast will finish both 14th and 16th to create AFL history.

Agree it is such an even competition now. The time of teams taking 5+ years to build a team to go for a flag is well and truly over

I should have saved this to the clipboard, as it seems relevant to this Thread every year.
When was the last time every team that made the Eight finished in the top Eight the next year?

Once in history?

So every prediction that repeats the Eight from 2021, in any order, is statistically highly improbable.
It’s the equivalent of sitting on the fence- looks impressive but is eventually just a recipe for pain in the groinal region.

Yeah it probably is only once or twice right?
I only just noticed that I’ve kept the same top 8 in as last season, albeit the order is different. The top 5 teams I think are a lock and then there is Essendon, Sydney and Geelong, who are all very solid.

GWS top 4 is a big call. i think they are around 10-12

Adelaide last for mine.
