Every year Dodo spruiks the leadership qualities of our draft picks, yet, Jobe was probably our last real leader; and, he was a Father/Son selection.
This club is totally inept and incapable of forming a competitive on field football team.
The Board and CEO have no feel for the game.
We will get excited by all the shiny things coming our way over coming months; but, nothing is going to change. We will continue to draft the wrong types of players; we will extend contracts of players that should be jettisoned and we will select nice guys, from good families with leadership potential.
Let the carousel continue to turn.

The stories I have heard about our beloved choir boy Bombers when not playing footy.

Jobe also is the only good big bodied midfielder we have had that i can remember in dodoro’s time and like you said he was a f/s selection.

Who we will try to get: Angus Brayshaw.

But neither will move, least not to us.
Think we trade for Green or Dunkley perhaps. But it’s probably better we hit the draft.

I think big free agency moves are flagged a fair way out if they are going to happen these days.
Like we all know McStay will go to Collingwood. The pies have obviously offered the dough and he wants to go there.
What interests me is De Goey. But I think he will only go to the Saints if he moves on.
He’s a bit of a man child, can’t see him gelling with our kids. Needs to be around an older list.

there’s no point releasing them at present, i don’t think anyone in the afl world is taking draper as a serious footballing leader.
