McStay would be a great get. More aggressive than our current forwards.

If all you want is aggressive, play Voss.
I’m sure he’d be able to keep up with McStays <1 goal a game average.

Happy to see Voss get a game.

Unless Hill wants to come, I doubt we chase any big fish this year

I think the more interesting question is do we think any of our players would be potentially on the move this year? I can’t think of any tbh - maybe Zerk-Thatcher?

Think it will likely be another quiet trade period

Hill is a big fish?

For all we know someone’s going to come at Perkins with some ridiculous contract, or one of WA club dangles a contract back home for Martin, or Langford gets a big FA offer. With 17 other clubs around it’s really hard to say.

no, but i’d certainly prefer Hill in the forward line and not on the end of a fishing line

I’m bored, so this question is more out of interest.

How much would Liam Baker from Richmond cost in a trade??

Out of contract this year. Only 24 years old. 2x Premiership player.

Not a lot I wouldn’t think.
Bit of a jobber and nothing spectacular.
I wouldn’t give up much at all for him

You trying to shrink our midfield even more?
Can imagine them asking for a very early 2nd at least.

My mate and I were having this argument.

I think he is a really quality HBF, and he reckons he is all system.

I agree with your mate. Is a system based player. Just plays his role well enough.

Fair enough.

BTW, that’s not a bad thing
Still need to have some skills and a lot of discipline to pull it off

Why would he leave when FCFC will pay him $1m plus, it’s his Dad’s club and they have a promising list. What, Joe Daniher I hear you say? So he’s a Kent as well is he?

Hawthorn is what I am hearing.

Sam Edmund saying that Essendon was having trouble with Reid, Cox and Perkins length of contract. Says the Bombers are looking to sign the three up long term and their managers are only looking at 2years.
Also said those three are the only ones from the top end of that draft that haven’t resigned.
Didn’t sound like they were wanting to leave, just haggling over terms.
