Still need to develop them
Gulden hasn’t missed a beat since his debut, but Mills, Blakey and Campbell have all been forced to add more strings to their bow before moving into their preferred roles. Florent is also a great example of someone forced to wait for his time in the midfield.
Heeney to a lesser extent.
Sure, but they’re developing Mills instead of Jade Gresham, Blakey instead of McHenry, and Heeney instead of Blaine Boekhorst.

You do know that having them play for the swans now will mean there’s multiples more football talent coming from nsw in the years to come. And all that talent won’t go to the swans.
The sooner the Sydney clubs can recruit predominantly from nsw the better. Same in QLD
Blokes like Touk Miller for example. Should be playing his football at Essendon not the Gold Coast.

3rd banana key forward from a good team who a club gets desperate for and reaches, pays overs on a multi year deal and then a couple years in they realise the player is indeed average and that it was bad business.

Any club offering a 27yr old Daniel McStay a 6 year contract should immediately fold.
He’s averaged more than one goal a game once in his 9 year career.
The definition of average.
That said, all power to him if he can con a club into offering it, better ■■■■■■■ not be us.
