He was pick 2.

I think you mean pick 1?

Ashcroft went at 2. DTD said if the unexpected (Ashcroft not going at 1) hadn’t have happened he’d have selected Mackenzie at 2…

Whoops - yes that’s what I meant.

Hit the absolute jackpot there.

Yep that was it. He went Pick 2 in the 2013 draft which was after our first season.

We had Brett Thornton go at Pick 2 in our expansion draft part 2 before the 2012 season - when all the GWS players were first available. We had already filled 15 spots - interestingly Burgoyne went with Pick 25 which was Pick 295 overall

To be completely fair, if memory serves the inaugural pick of our 2006 keeper draft was either Gavin Wanganeen (he might’ve been the initial 2005 version) or James Hird.

At least pazza got a few good years out of Shaun.

Plowman and O’rourke over Macrae? Ouchhhh

Happy to still have Jack Macrae on my list all these years later. No doubt he has been my greatest ever draft pick.

So all the teams should now be set on The Bench bar a few players which weren’t available. I understand from Dunlop that these players should now be added so I will allocate them tonight.

For Round 1 we will run with a rolling lockout.

Please ensure you set your teams on The Bench

Let me know if you have any issues or if you have any issues or questions.
