After tanking all year, somehow manage to get a couple of meaningless wins late on the back of improved form from the kids to cost myself a draft order spot. Classic Essendon.

That definitely sucks. I mean no one was going near Ace for the Harley Reid Cup, but I had Don to Death covered right up until the end …

Whilst the season is done for me, getting to 8 wins off the back of 3-4 wins last year and averaging over 1200 (average last year was less than 1000) is some good progress. Nice to see some of the guys I drafted and have kept faith with start to emerge, such as Campbell, Bruhn, Idun, etc, and getting Bailey Williams (WCE) in as my long-term ruck looks a good move despite it costing my 1st round pick this year. Good luck to the finalists!

Unfortunately think last week was probably the best side I could put up, but lost Cerra and Jones to injuries. Still have the best depth I’ve had in years though so hopefully still put up some good scores if the rest of selections on Thursday are kind.

Oliver, Setterfield, Rampe and Aliir would have be handy this week!

I’ll be seriously surprised if I can win a flag this year.
Bailey Smith went from a 110+ average to now scraping 50 points per game on a flank, Mills goes from a 111 average last year to now barely 80, being moved down back playing on key forwards… Hewett goes from an 100+ average to now barely 67 and missed most the year injured, Cameron’s averaged has decreased by 20-30 since Round 9, Gresham has checked out before he moves clubs next year, and Walsh has missed most the year constantly injured. And my decent backup in Dixion is injured.
I don’t think a single player has matched last year, only upside is probably Jack Ross and Tim English.
