It’s not great when your top three are claiming are collecting 71% of the votes and 61% of your CMM tally. The top two collectively held almost the same percent as last year, and Nanscawen just zoomed past everyone else to validate what the True Believers had been saying for years.

Notable changes:

  • Alexander absolutely improved this year (her votes last year were almost entirely constrained to one game)
  • Vogt, Bannister, and Cain were down in the CMM; but injury aside, I personally had Cain as more influential this year. We really missed her in that last month.

Missed Bannister as a forward target as well.

Wish Marshall had been given more cracks as a forward; that was her natural position at the Dogs and her goal against Hawthorn proved she had a good leg.

Obviously no votes this year which is tough when you play three games.

But I’m pretty sure all three were wins, so there is that :wink:

The votes came from 33 Blitzers, with @HurleyBurley and @Goodthur joining me as conscientious every-week voters.

@kialla was Maddy’s top fan, delivering 39% of their votes to her.

@Goodthur and @DonBomb were the biggest supporters of Bonnie (33% and 35%).

@Goodthur and @whereswalla were the top fans of G (21% and 25%).

@HurleyBurley, however, was not a fan of G, sending just 9% of votes her way.

For every other player, the vote tally is too small to be even vaguely statistically significant :frowning:

@HurleyBurley was the most egalitarian of the voters, crediting 10 of the 14 who ended up with CMM votes (plus Brooke Walker and MORCS).

As the one and only girl in the school footy in the 80’s to a once off carnival for girls when I was in year 12 in 1992 team to having nowhere to play again till the ripe old age of 40.

I’ve been waiting my whole Life to be able to follow a Don’s womens team

So glad all kids boys and girls can now dream of playing the greatest game ever and now all have pathways to the top tier

Gives me all the warm and fuzzys to be able to witness the early stages of our team. We won’t recognise it it 10 years let alone 5 with your continued dedication and hype for the girls @theDJR
