2023 into 2024 trade talk (Part 4)

He kicked 6 today to back up 3 last week.

He just slotted another 6 today, heā€™s fast, smart and tough.

Think he has finally clicked at the level and will take off from here

Cumming is a beautiful kick of the football, the giants even moved him to the wing last year for a bit. Would be a good pick up.

I donā€™t mind noble, could have got him cheap last year. He was pretty good last night i thought, an upgrade on hind, about the same speed but a better kick and not undisciplined.

Agree about both Noble and Markov. Both are solid defensive citizens and role players.

Bramble at the dogs is another one, they arenā€™t stars but they have bounce, quick feet with recovery speed, we could do with a couple of these types.

Of all the names discussed here Cumming is the best one, unrestricted as well so Giants cannot match, Iā€™ve heard Hawks will make him a very strong offer, but not sure, maybe a lazy link because theyā€™re cashed up.

Edit: if we wanted to take a chance on a failed pick, Josh Sinn could be worth a chance

That would be amusing considering some of the melts on here when Port jumped us to take him.

Where abouts does cumming play in defence ?

Attacking half back, similar to Redman, Iā€™d then move Martin back to the wing

That would be ideal.

we could have had bonner for free, seems to be doing ok at the saints.

Cumming, would be my pick, but yeh Sinn would have a high ceiling if can get back to form shown pre draft. Noble would just be foot soldier, but handy to have those selfless guys who can do a job.

Joe Richards was that very unusual case a couple of drafts back. Very rare to have a guy in his mid 20ā€™s drafted straight from a country footy club. I love it tbh.

How is he defensively ?

Did we have a pre-season pick available to use?

Probably havenā€™t seen enough to properly judge but he wouldnā€™t be worse than Redman, heā€™s definitely got aggression, 188cm and i seem to remember him intercepting at a good level.

Sounds ideal, if it meant Martin went back to the wing where he excels , I would be happy with that

0 tackles, rubbish :joy:.
Nah I stand corrected, hadnā€™t seen todayā€™s stats, pretty impressive
Looks like Lohmann also had a great game (and 8 tackles!). Shame we couldnā€™t get him across

Him and Sullivan dragged those toothless grubs back into the game.

Lohmann was the real big fish last year, landing him and Gresh would have changed our forward line greatly

Iā€™d start my 12yr old nephew over Menzie at this rate

Wicks pounce Essendon time to pounce!!!

Durham went off injured and Caldwell stepped up. Caldwell and Hobbs play very well together. Where is all of the Caldwell and Hobbs hate coming from? We have bigger problems.
