Someone needs to tell Taha to get with the program!

First game in over a year and only his 2nd ever senior game, some cheapies here but he is a young athletic forward who could be on the radar. 196cm Jaiden Hunter

Looks great!

(my takeaway from googling for that link is that Fraser Thurlow has kicked 7 in the last 2 weeks at VFL level, is somehow still only 30, and is also Southports “Strength and Conditioning” coach)

He was a big lump of a lad when he was at efc.

I think it bears mentioning that in the game Teal played on Sheezel, where he got 20 and had 2 tackles, Sheezel had 22, 7 tackles, and kicked 4.2 in a game decided by under a goal.

I know U18s is a different kind of game, but if Langford was asked to play on Toby Greene and that was the outcome, I don’t think blitz would come to the conclusion that Langford can play on smalls.

I meet the weight requirement.

Those stats don’t read that well, but my point is more about finding the best available player and that a Half-Back-Flanker is (ironically after all these years) a wise investment, provided they are a tough-nut with some good skills who doesn’t mind a bit of body contact. Regardless, we actually lack quality all over the ground with that skillset.

Nah, too tall… this is much more to Dodo’s liking…

Not enough Ziggy Toledo-Glasman talk in this thread

And make sure he has the twangiest hamstrings.

Anyone worth noting for the MSD…?

Not sure if he’s still in the mix or on anyone’s radar but is Mitch Szybkowski worth a look ?

We looked all summer when he trained with us. Would have to assume no is the answer.

Narkle could probably add more than our junior small forwards at the moment, but it would be short term thinking, and imagine we would go after a 19-22 year old project player.

We need a centre half back, urgently, mature one .

In the VFL games i have been to this year he has been very average. I think maybe a bit better recently but hardly belting down the door.

Agree, or even a maturish ruckman if there are any reasonable ones.

A ready to go KPD. Its that simple really
