Am I the only one who doesn’t see anything in Narkle.
He has looked absolutely bog average in games I’ve seen him play and I just don’t what he would bring to the table.

Agree. There is no upside at all in drafting Narkle. Would rather take someone who could crash and burn than someone you already know for sure is a bog average AFL player.
I just don’t even see where he’d fit in the team. We have enough 6ish foot mids.
More than happy for him to get another run at it, but please don’t let it be with us.

He trained with us before for a SSP / mid season spot.
Body was cooked at swans - Hammys, but has played regular VFL Footy for a couple of years now.

If there is a project ruckman available, I’m interested…just put one in the bank…then at the end of the year, retire Phillips, Bryan moves up to second ruck, and the new kid goes into long term VFL development.

There are a few project rucks earmarked for this draft. Matthew Elliot’s son for one.
I like the idea of another key forward/ruck as cover for draper / Weidmann.
That’s what Phillips should be.
Play Draper and Bryan with Weid and 2MP to take some forward contests. Phillips stays in VFL as backup and yes we either draft a ruck prospect in the MSD or at at the main draft.
