Or you know, just do round 1 as a split round and ■■■■ what Richmond and Carlton think
It’s desperate. It’s confusing. It’s ■■■■. It’s the AFL.
You’ll be watching and YOU WILL LIKE IT
YES and no I will not like it!
can we as a league just stop taking inspiration from america? the reason their marketing works so much is because their people are absolutely cooked in the head
ASCII = old school…
Has anyone noticed, that this OR debacle means Collingwood will get a bye in round 5 (effectively round 6 for them) and round 15?
Whereas, we’ll get a single bye in round 14.
The fixture is already pot luck, but this seems like a pretty unfair advantage for the class favourite…
The kidletts up here play auskick to learn how to kick before switching to touch.
No it’s next weekend but it’s just 2 games

Ummm then those ABC reporters and fans rocking up are reeeeally lost then, they are getting ready for the pregame now
No Parker taunting us or Adams belting our midfielders
Should make for an interesting duel

Hopefully the line about teams losing after byes is actually true.
Hopefully they also get doubly screwed with the sequencing of AFL and VFL byes.
So it is not due to the Vegas thing? So then what is the point in having an “opening round” when round 1 is the opening round normally?
Trying to understand why the AFL does things, is kind of like the old saying “never argue with an idiot…”
How ■■■■ is it not having a game in the first weekend of AFL footy. Totally kills the anticipation. Major buzzkill.

Didn’t know you liked porchet stall.
The NRL game looks like it’s basically an empty stadium.
Hoping for 45k. Doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.
