2024 BBFFL#2 Discussion

I’ll definitely take the 1445 my team scored given the donut down back. Late flourish gave a somehow comfortable win over Stoops when it looked like I may struggle for a while.

Real mix this week. Some players doing really well, others like most of my forward line, with four scores of 45 or less putting up some real rubbish.

My team is putrid.

When is free agency open?

Um so… how do we pickup free agents?

Ok.
So we are going to try to have RFA and FA handled completely by the Fantasy options available on the website.

Here’s how it is supposed to work.

RFA (Used to be waivers on UF) will be available until 12.00pm on Wednesday(This day and time can not be changed)
Atm the order of selections is based on reverse last years finish place. Redbull is trying to reset it atm to be based on current ladder but not sure if we can do that or not yet.

Normal RFA will be if your RFA request is filled, you will then go to the last spot in the queue for another RFA. It’s the same as we ran Waivers in the past.

After RFA selections have been processed and players allocated all players will then become FA and are available to anyone up until the first bounce of the game that week with no effect on your RFA ranking.

Please note: When you try to add a player from the RFA pool it will take you to a screen where you need to delist a player first. If for any reason you want to cancel your request prior to it being processed you can do so on the Transactions tab.

Cheers.

What’s the fit between RFA and FA?

They are all the same players in the pool. All players are RFA until Wednesday then they all become FA.

Just checking for the byes starting this week, if you name a player from OR, you automatically get their score?

Anyone work out how to do RFA search yet?

Edit. Never mind.

If you name any players on a bye week you will get their average score.

@DonToDeath, appears as though not the case for these early byes

As per Red’s run down …

Bye Round Rules
For Rounds 2, 3, 5 and 6

Opening Round Scores will be utilised regardless of whether they are injured or suspended. As long as they played in the Opening Round, they are fine to be selected and their opening round score will count towards that rounds games.

For Rounds 12, 13, 14 and 15

Bye scoring will be a players season average.

Doesn’t that just say what i said?

They get their average score or am i understanding it wrongly?

Nah, it sounds like for these early bye rounds, you get the exact score from OR.

For the regular byes, you get the average.

Why wouldn’t you get an average of the 2 games they have played?

I think their O score makes a lot more sense. Effectively the bye is in lieu of the O round as opposed to the byes in rd12, 13 and 14.

Don’t know, but it sounds like dems da rulz, so important to plan for it.

Basically it’s just a sub for the missing game.

Ok, that does make sense.

Decision was made to utilise the Round 0 scores otherwise they are redundant. Mid season byes will have average scores applied.
