Last year boys started the same weekend as the VFL(W). Girls one week earlier.
I’ve covered some key Cannons/Pioneers in the VFLW 2024 Squad thread.
Pioneer Lucia Painter is the only one in the AFLW Academy squad.
Cannon Chloe Baker-West was getting insane numbers late last year (including 49 disposals and 18 inside fifties in one 80 minute game).

Last year they announced start and end dates on February 6, and the actual draw on Feb 24. So if they skip the first “leak” they might still be on schedule?
