Separate draft, done first, and you need to delist to pick in it right? There will be some bloody good players available - could be interesting.

The order of doing things would be interesting.

A preliminary draft of two picks per coach in reverse ladder? Balance of players into main draft pool.

Then trade period ( prelim draft players can or canāt be traded?) .

Then keepers ( depending on answer to 2, prelim draft players must be in keepers / if not traded).

Then main draft.
Personally, I hope two new coaches can be found.

If doing the mini draft I donāt think you should be able to trade those players pre draft. Half the point in doing it would be to make some of the weaker sides more competitive and trading them for draft picks doesnāt do that.
But also coaches would be allowed to pass on picks in the mini draft.

Should we set a cut off for new coaches? I also am against coaches having two teams, had it before and it sucked
So it looks like I have 2 coaches keen to take over the coaching vacancies. I am working to get them signed up today.
Other things to knock over are are:
-update squads on Blitz to help with trading
-update draft order to help with trading
Also we still are waiting for @Aceman to sign up

Trades by Saturday and keepers gonna still need to be set by Sunday night?
Or allowing a bit more time for newcomers. Would be good to see all preseason games.
Iām happy to push things back a couple days on the assumption we can get the draft done faster which I think will be possible. I will have coaching announcements tomorrow morning.

BBFFL#2 Coaching Announcements
We are lucky enough to have found two new coaches for the BBFFL#2 2025 season.
Taking the reins from @DonToDeath will be @One_Tough_Bombre who brings keeper experience from another comp. While another Blitz favourite in @wimmera1 will be taking over @Speedy_Gonzales squad.
We wish them all the best in joining our comp and thank DtD and Speedy for their involvement over the years.

How do I know what picks I have to play with?
I will be uploading the current draft order shortly. To answer your other question, we need to cut our lists to 20 keepers. Everyone then takes 10 picks in the draft.

Trading and Keeper Deadline Extended
Please note that trading has now been extended to close on Monday 3 March at 6pm. A thread for confirmed trades has been setup -
Our keeper deadline has also been pushed back until 6pm on Tuesday 4 March, with the draft now scheduled to commence on Wednesday 5 March at 12pm.
