Lost 3 of my last 4 GFs across both Leagues by a combined 24 points, never thought I had a chance, but would rather lose by 200 than 13. Don’t think I’m destined to win one again, I think I’m 1 and 7 now across both and maybe 0/4 in this one.
A lot of coulda woulda shoulda but it felt like CB scored about 60 points in the last 4 minutes of the Dogs game and by the looks of it Dunkley went nuts late and that was the difference.
Too good CB, congrats on another flag, can’t see too many teams toppling you next year either, hopefully I get another chance to lose to you for a third year running.

I’m going to have to make some list decisions this off-season. I’ve carried Coleman for two years for no return, and I already know that Martin won’t play 2026.

I believe this is the first time a team in either league a club has gone back-to-back (24-25)? And that would three premierships in four years. Undefeated in 2022 with a premiership, lost 2 games in 2023 including the GF by 36 points despite scoing over 1600 to Speedy. Won the premiership in 2024 losing 1 game and again this year, losing one game on the way to a premiership. Lost 4 games in 4 years. What a effort from this mob! That being said we were a basket case when I took over, took a fair few years to build this team.
After last year seemingly powering home in the Grand Final, I thought we were done at three quarter time. We had an 11 point lead with Dunkley holding on and the margin closing quickly, against an on target for 100+ each Wilmont and Bailey. Suddenly Dunkley puts on the superman cape and outscores them both in the last quarter to deliver another premiership cup.
Commiserations @stoops, you’ve built a power team that was scoring 1600+ weekly. You had me on absolute toast heading into the last, I wouldn’t get so down on yourself. You had Will Day on the injury list too. You were literally just 13 points off a well deserved premiership.
Thanks goes to @redbull for another fantastically well run league and everyone else for another fun year. Here’s to drafting season…

Out of curiosity you don’t have last years grand final score somewhere? It’s the only score in BBFFL#2 history I don’t have
Last year I defeated Stoops 1724 to 1445.
You can find it on the website mate, next to overview, there’s a History Tab. It’s only got the last few years stored but its actually pretty cool, every All time win/loss/percentage etc stat. Probably the best historical stats I’ve seen for a fantasy site. Shame we can’t enter years before it in.

Think we will be moving to a new platform in 2026. The functionality offered on this system is way more advanced compared to what is offered by AFL Fantasy

I thought last years was way better than previous years. So if this is even better then great.
Does this make managing it easier for you. All the behind the scenes stuff you need to do seems very labour intensive.

Interested in how things will work as it relates to the AFL SSP signing window being pushed back to 2 March if that is after our keeper lodgement date.
With Elijah Hollands on my list currently from last year (and the intention to keep him if he gets an SSP spot), keen to understand how that might work.

You will be able to declare him as a keeper. If he misses the SSP spot you will then move him on once free agency opens.
