In hindsight given Burgoyne played for nearly another 10 years it was a very shrewd pick! The more similar one to Kako was when Jack Higgins went pick 1 to @ivan.
I’m actually don’t think it’s too much of a reach. Forwards who are consistent scorers are getting harder to find and it looks like Kako will kept forward eligibility for his career.

I don’t believe there is the ability to take a pick for someone else. Only work around would be someone else having access to their teams.
