I understand that. And the site lost it because we didn’t take Rhys Palmer. And we took Myers as a BBM even though he’d played HBF.
The point was more that we explicitly said we took Myers for need, rather than as “best available”,this site lost it because they didn’t see him as best available, even though he was around the mark. And everyone who didn’t push for Cyril was wrong either way.
The VIC kids are ■■■■ this year so it means all the other kids in the draft this year are ■■■■ too.

Everyone complains how we never draft superstars yet are content with just drafting solid players?
Tigers are going to take Robey & Taylor aren’t they. Grlj is the wildcard.
I think we might end up with a couple of SA lads (Sharp & Cumming), unless we go with one of them + a defender (Lindsay/Farrow).
That second pick might depend on what types of players will slide to say pick 15 though, assuming we can get that from the Suns.
Will Pickett last till pick 18 if we grab it from the Suns?
Not sure Melbourne will take him with 7 or 8 would be a big reach there next pick after that is 37

According to Cal Sydney and GWS have been doing work on him reckon GWS will take him at 12.

How does this have anything to do with reasoning for why we would take Pickett that early?
We have pick 5 and 6 of the open draft.

I’ll be wrapt with either. i think we need to draft one of them we only have Kako
I think we do too.
But considering our NGA options I think we need to balance out the entire hand rather than jump at a small too early at the cost of other options.

Just remember Nino wanted to draft Anthony Munkara with pick 25 in the 2022 draft. We got him as a Cat B and a year later was off the list
