Or in Dodoro’s case, high floor, low ceiling. I still have no idea how he saw Jones as a first round prospect

A club that’s been looked after since they entered Gold Coast and Hardwick can gagf I reckon

Interesting, but if other clubs aren’t actually redoing the calcs automatically as they go then WTF?

Clearly beat me to that thought. Truly amazing.

Need to get Dean Wallis back….

Ben King another who could go

Every club would 100%. It isn’t difficult to do. The amazing thing isn’t that the suns were able to do it, the amazing thing is that we have a system where a finals team is rewarded so significantly and we have to sit by and watch it all “for the good of the game”. Cos we all care about growing the game in QLD

Once there is enough growth in QLD, they’ll soften the rules. It will take a 10 year window within which Brisbane and GC share 8 flags to trigger it, but don’t worry, change will come.

And if West Coast had of picked Patterson at 2 like was speciulated a few weeks before the draft, this would have been a pretty nothing article.

Amazing what happens when good players dont get bid on early enough.

The GCS have had to give up a reasonable amount to match the bids. Previous to this year not as much, but they have given up multiple best 22 players who were top 10 picks over the past 2 years to accommodate the boon in their academy this year.

Brisbane however…

Yeah isn’t it great that Jeff Whites kid got a chance to be picked up by the Gold Coast Suns? Wouldn’t want him playing Rugby.

AFL’s job to keep Teams honest, not other teams who may get left holding the bag if it goes wrong.

Show us how they have softened the rules for Snydey who have been in the comp now for over 50 years.

Brasher said a lot of things to drive membership numbers.

BS, the only way to change it would be for the melb clubs to force it like cola yet they still get academy gifts, but we’re almost all neutered pussycats now (pies only one not) and it’s unstoppable now.

I remember Sheeds telling us one year that he thought we had the next Robert Flower coming through.

We’ve tended to say a lot and do very little for quite some time.

I think the entire premise and tone of my post went way over your head good sir.

And yours too it seems.
