Bruhn was the last keeper cut from the Bulls. He didn’t take the decision well.
We may live to regret the decision but if the AFL does get involved then it probably was the right decision.

You’ll be able to test how to use the queue function and the joys and frustrations that it can bring.

It looks like he sets autopick when he’s awake. And he turned it off just incase.
I was overseas during one of the FF drafts last decade. It was tough going when you went to sleep with a list of 15 picks and wake up to them all gone.
It’s tough going but it’s the sacrifice you make to keep the draft rolling. I don’t think we can afford to have the draft (hypothetically) stopped until past 9pm our time every round.

There isn’t much daytime crossover between Smoten and us on AEST. So the optimum rhythm would be to catch his pick in the morning and after work.
And we fill in between whilst navigating Awesome Scotty in USA (we have far more crossover with Neela).
It used to be tougher with topdon as well, especially when all three were split evenly across the draft round.
Before we get to the point where we’re auto picking through our sleep, I’d prefer to give it a chance to catch onto a rhythm. If it doesn’t then we pivot.
There is a good chance that every coach will be loading up their queue with 20 or so players and auto picking through one night somewhere in this draft. But we can’t have every coach just set autopick at the same time. The draft will end quickly in 5 minutes. There needs to be some pockets of 3 or 4 hours where it waits for more people to be online to fill their queue and continue the draft. This is where having international coaches can actually be to our benefit.
We could target one round as overnight auto picking for us on AEST time and the next one for the overseas guys to push through. That might be enough to sneak 4 rounds into a day.
The odds are by the time we get to the rounds 6 and 7, we’d look at the draft pool and begin realising that auto picking isn’t such an issue that late in the draft.
We also have the long weekend, which usually helps us progress through the draft pretty well. And unlike previous years, the Labour Day holiday is in the middle of the draft. Not the beginning. Which may also help.
