Likely round 4 or round 6 would be a bye wouldn’t it? Opening Round teams get a bye somewhere in the first 7 or 8 weeks?
That’s also 4 away games already on the schedule so would assume we only have two more slated for the rest of the season. Hopefully WC and Adelaide
Will have to go to NSW at some point too. Assume we go back to SA to play one of the home teams, but not certain. Collingwood didnt last year
Dockers
Suns, Lions
Demons
Cats
Crows ?
Giants/Swans ?
Scratching my head at how Norf are only playing 2 games in WA, both designated as their home games. I thought the bottom 6 teams played each other twice?
No Fridays in the first 15 for us. Better not be having a lot 5/6 day breaks with our Thursday slate.
If we have Geelong at Hillbilly Park it means we should be playing them twice as they had the home game last year as well if I’m not mistaken?
That was me at the Fremantle game. Got the shock of my life when we turned it around.
Might watch the replay of that game later this afternoon.
Why do Essendon and Melbourne only meet once a year?
It would be over 20 years since they have met twice in the regular season.
Insane ticket prices
Insane membership prices
“Sold out” marvel games
Thursday night and Sunday night school night fixtures finishing after 10:30pm?
What this actually is?
Families/Kids.
Round 18 apparently. Likely Fri or Sat night.
Is that a fact? I’ve never tracked it before, that’s mind blowing if true that we haven’t played Melbourne twice in 20 years.
It’s true
2005
Just confirmed on Herald Sun, Round 2 vs Adelaide (MCG) Saturday afternoon.
I reckon we have played Brisbane down here once in the last 5 years
Yes, will be 4 times in a row. The most one sided draw in the history of the two sides.
We have had longer away game stretches against Sydney.
Mind you we have had longer away game stretches in recent history against westcoast and freo.
Round 6 (Easter) is almost certainly to be the Saturday. Maybe St Kilda at 4:40 again which worked well last year?
With Brisbane at the Gabba and North in weeks following Anzac Day, that rules us out of the Thursday and Good Friday games. Would be unexpected to get an Easter Sunday game given Anzac Day is a Friday and we follow it with a shirt break.
Essendon will face Geelong in rounds 14 and 22.
HO HO ROUND 22 AT HILLBILLY CENTRAL AFTER THE WHEELS ARE OFF
Yep, we will Chuck it in by about round 16 or 17 and then just limp through the last half dozen games.
No doubt beaten by 100 down there and McGrath will come out and tell us that this is not what we stand for
