Round 1 is confirmed v Hawthorn on Friday night.
Every year the fixture gets leaked in drips and drabs why dosent the AFL just release the fixture today
Because it’s all about staying in the news cycle.
Slow drips until the fixture release, then the release gets a few days, then into the National Draft. Then it’s holidays and next thing you know it’s all systems go talking about the pre-season games.
