I’ve put together the squads in Keeper Fantasy, and have sent out invites to those who have sent through their details.
The app requires both a first and last name. It will only display the initial, and I am subject to the Privacy Act 1988.

Where do I find my squad?
You’ll have received an invite via email for Keeper Fantasy. Login via the app or website and you’ll see your squad and others there. All squads are up to date. You can select your keepers through Keeper Fantasy (due Thursday 9:00pm). Draft starts next Saturday at 9:00am.
The draft order is not up to date in Keeper Fantasy yet. Refer to the Blitz thread for the most up to date draft order.

Sorry, I meant to get back to you on this once I had checked the capability of Keeper Fantasy. Yes, it can manage LTIs. I know we didn’t have it last year, and in a way that increased the pool of players available at free agency, and reduced instances of teams playing short. But also, carrying a LTI or two is painful. I’ll put it to a poll.

We also need to determine how me manage with 17 teams if we’re unable to fill the last coach position.
Potentially all the players from the vacant team could go into the draft pool and be available for pickup. Keeper Fantasy won’t allow 17 teams, but they have suggested re-naming the vacant team “the Bye” and managing it that way.
Should we have 18 coaches for the following season, we could introduce GC/GWS draft concession, or have the new coach pick a player from each team (aside from say 10 nominated untouchables).
Interested to hear some thoughts on this rather than making a unilateral decision without consultation.
I think if we went to 17 teams you’d perhaps need to look at doing a mini draft of that squad prior to keepers as opposed to adding them back into the draft pool given people have traded picks already. Any player drafted would then be a keeper and teams would theoretically add 1/2 players back into the open draft pool.
It’s a tricky one if we go down to 17 as it probably locks us into that for the foreseeable future without some major structural intervention. Don’t love the GC/GWS example as coaches get penalised through no fault of their own and/or the team is left with a pretty middling group to choose from (good luck picking from 11-30 on my list…), if we left the team as a ghost team for this season to see if we can fill it then elements of the draft order are compromised with a year of ‘tanking’, but maybe that’s the lesser of all evils.

The people have spoken, we will have a long term injury (LTI) list of one player. Your 20 keepers must include any players you intend to nominate for LTI list.

We are yet to fill the final coaching vacancy.
We can proceed with 17 teams and have a bye. The players from Blummers old team can be made available via the draft. Stoops suggested earlier a mini draft, and I think this has merit considering the impact of trades. Crazy has also suggested locking the team. I’ll put this to a vote with the following options:
- All players from Bomber Pride 32 go into the draft
- We have a “mini-draft” lasting one round (which in practice will be the first round of the draft that commences on Saturday), where only Bomber Pride 32 players can be selected. This will be in reverse ladder order, and will not be affected by trades. You can pass if there is no player of interest. Players not selected in the “mini-draft” can be selected in the regular draft (which in practice will be round 2 of the draft commencing Saturday).
- Lock the Bomber Pride 32 squad as per Crazy Bombers suggestion.
