Heading to the Fed for the Soceroos games.

Maybe things will pick up this week, but I can’t remember a more low-key build up to the World Cup. Perhaps something to do with the host nation? The timezone when it comes to matches in this country?

I have heard though that several European countries are struggling to adjust to the heat/humidity in the south of the US (Texas, Florida etc) in the lead up at their training bases and warm up games. Advantage South America & Asia?

I thought they canned that, did they backflip?

The very next day

Timezone is brilliant on most days there is genuinely football on all day with the early east coast 5am kick offs and late 2pm west coast kick offs.

Didn’t take leave for a good 18 months. Stacked it alllllllll the way up.

Yep, reckon we get a south american winner.

I reckon we were pretty spoilt with the timezone when it was in Qatar, from memory. Was nearly perfect for a majority of AUS games.

Socceroos any good?

@ me when there are riots or ICE turn up or Trump gets booed. Otherwise, muted.

Nah, we had alot of early mornings. Went to the Fed for the argie game and it was full by 2am.

This time round:
Turkey game @ 2pm on a Sunday
Yanks @ 5am on a Friday
Paraguay @ midday on a Saturday

I’d be very disappointed if we didn’t get out of the group

I was in the city for the Denmark game on a Saturday night and it was heaving. Maybe a 9pm or 10pm start which was ideal?

Think that was the Frogs have a memory of Denmark and Tunisia being early mornings

Part of the World Cup is celebrating at like 4am in my mind.

If the TDF was during work hours, I’d forget to watch I reckon

tunisia was a saturday night game, the frogs was about 6am on a wednesday.

Gonna be real strange having world cup football during daylight hours, remember there was a cote d’ivoire vs japan game at 11am on a sunday in 2014. That was weird
