Thanks for being a leader in tough times for this footy club Hepp. Great bloke who deserved more success in his career. Obviously right call though.

He tried his best and put his body on the line. And he’s clearly a quality human being. You only have to look at what he does with the kids dealing with terminal illness to see that.
The correct decision has been made from a football perspective here though clearly.

Was at Essendon during its darkest days of the Saga and then the ensuing years when the club was a basket case. Deserves our respect.

I remember his debut like it was yesterday. Round 1, 2011. So much hype and promise at the time around the club and he went on to win the Rising Star in his first year and we played finals. Good innings Hepp! Thanks for everything!
