#22 - Sam Durham - thru to 2032!

It will go straight to the tribunal

It would be good for Hobbs to get midfield minutes for no other reason but to make Wim happy.

Cleary is an agent of the AFL, so hopefully this is the outcome.

Highly doubtful imo

Yeah, I was just carrying on.

The fundamental nature of contact sport dictates that a players first instinct can’t be to avoid contact.

The party most at fault here is the afl for ■■■■■■■ around with every aspect of the game to the point where they have incentivised players to invite contact with the expectation of either drawing a free or being allowed to obtain possession of the ball essentially unopposed.

The media frenzy whipped up by yesterday’s men such as king is also completely and utterly shameful.

Corrrect. The bump collected Cerra on the shoulder. If there was any contact to the head it was glancing only. As for all this crap about the potential for serious injury, Stuart’s bump had more potential for serious injury as it was more forceful. Both bumps missed the head. Stuart’s was considered ok, purely because he took the body. Durham should get the same consideration - he made forceful contact with the shoulder of Cerra. And Durham was turning his shoulder in as he went low for the ball, whereas Stuart went in to bump without any chance of getting the ball.

Cotchin didn’t get a week for this in prelim final.

Hard to argue with Hirdy.

If you can’t turn your shoulder in as you move in the contest a low ball, then your only two alternatives are to pull out, or go in head first. I don’t want either of those to become the norm.

incidentally thats also the moment shiels career pivoted

Not sure if serious. Duzz contacted the head. Stewart didn’t by a long way.

Well it might be an alternative fact. Anyway it’s wrong.

Indeed, though even Hird expects him to get a week or two.

He’ll be punished for Cerra’s poor technique.
And by the rules, that’s correct.

We have some of the most delusional supporters going around, every decision is a conspiracy and every game we get rorted by the umpires apparently
