Go to the tribunal; see if you can argue it down to one. There’s no risk in challenging this i reckon.
of coruse not, not in brad scotts essendon
Agreed.
Suspect it was low impact but they used the upgrade option to medium due to potential injury. We won’t be able to get that lowered.
high impact is the only point we could argue. Wasn’t knocked out or subbed off
2 weeks is about right though
He is a massive loss
What’s the argument?
Good to give him a mid-season break to rest his ankle and any other little niggles going on. Can come back fit and firing.
We have faded in second half, so this rest to one our best might be perfect to deal with that.
Was it high contact if he got him in the shoulder? Given no concussion it can’t be both high contact and high impact.
He got a shiner from it, might have been hip that caught the head
But given he got straight up and played the game out without concussion subbing surely medium impact
Brad Johnson saying he thought Durham should have been sent straight to the tribunal. ■■■■ off.
Hit his head first before the shoulder. It is very clearly high.
He hates Essendon, so any chance to prattle on he will.
They will be using “potential to cause injury” to upgrade it to high. But I believe you can only use potential to upgrade it from low to medium, or medium to high.
So they are saying it was a medium hit but upgrading it to high as potential to cause injury.
So only reason it’s not 3 is because no concussion, is that right?
It’s amazing these pelicans who are paid to comment on the game still have no idea of how the rules actually work.
I could’ve sworn Mitch Clearly just said it had been graded as medium impact
2 matches.
Move on.
Wasn’t concussed. Played the game out. Glancing blow to the head that started at the shoulder level and ended up connecting with Cerra’s head. Cerra did not show a duty of care to himself in the way he approached the contest where as Durham turned his shoulder in so was culpable as well. But most importantly because Fark Carlton.
Yes if he had concussion it would have been 3 or 4.
