Is it just me, or were his two pre-season games extremely underwhelming?

Durham? He was clearly nursing himself through it. He’s normally going at it 100mph
He got injured against Richmond last week and was poor against the Saints. After a very impressive 2024 he seems to have plateaued or gone backwards slightly. I love Duz hope he can step up again this year.
I get the feeling a lot of the senior blokes were taking it fairly easy to try avoid injuries
In 2025 we took it easy and still got injuries.
FYI mate, Newcombe just got a week.

Newcombe has been offered 1 week so Sam will cop 1 + 3 week Esssndon levy/tax/tariff
Yep, he didn’t do much in the preseason. Neither did Merrett and for that matter Parish and Calwell were ordinary against the Saints. I have a strong feeling that all four of them will step up once the real stuff starts.

I’m slightly surprised but relieved. His head must’ve been close to hitting the ground, a bit of luck there.
It would’ve been a disappointing if Duz had put himself out of round one.. Especially as a new leader.
Has he been officially cleared? I can’t find any info online
