Quite possibly one week. They are trying to stop players doing tackles like that.

That would be very on trend to get suspended in a practice match while carrying an ankle and playing awful
newcombe’s was worse. if duz goes, which i doubt, newcombe also does. i think both will be ok

I think he’ll get 1 week. Burns may have contributed to his head hitting the ground (ie maybe it’s a 2ndary movement), and he definitely wasn’t hurt. But I think christian will come gunning for duz as it was unnecessary and undisciplined to throw burns to the ground.
Duz does need to target his aggression a bit more carefully, otherwise he will become a regularly suspended player.
How can he get a week if the oppo player’s head didn’t hit the ground?

Bonnie Toogood got four weeks (a third of a season) for good technique and no damage.
Will be a good test for the new Welsh regime if he gets a week. Previously we would just cop it.
