Seems to have bulked up and be developing a frame that is closer to a tall forward. Hopefully he hasn’t been too injured and rather on a very specific program.

If by say halfway through 2024 Jones and Reid aren’t entrenched members of the side and playing good footy, it’s problematic for our list build IMO.
Sure, if they’re not, we’ll have other guys in the mix to ‘do a job’ but are they the right type of players to build around and take us forward, and pertinently are they the right size and height for the modern game is the question.
I did like the decision to draft Hayes just to give us a bit of insurance in the ~200cm developing key position player ranks.

Agree with the sentiment but not the timeline.
If they are cemented in the team by mid next year we are well on our way.
But I suspect it may take longer.
I’m going to keep saying this until I’m blue in the face.
This kid makes the team better whether he’s marking and kicking goals or not. Some of the tackling pressure and workrate he displayed today was seriously impressive. He was even helping out the backline at times.
He just needs some bloody continuity.

Needs to improve his goal kicking
Voss, 2MP and Jones will make a very good trio up front.
Voss and Jones have the ability to be very good at applying defensive pressure for talls
