Fox Footy reporting a dislocated ankle rather than a break. Not sure what’s worse. From someone who has broken their leg badly that was very triggering.

It was like a really bad roll of the ankle. Landed completely on the side of his foot trying to break before he ran into the artificial turn and the fence.
In a weird way I think it might have just got him a new contract
I can’t see us delisting a guy who has had that bad of an injury

So tonight is the worst possible outcome for the player in 2025 and the Club in 2026.
Yeah I think so too they will give him a year at least, but if he serious about football he spends that time bulking up

Dislocation is better than say a clean break….
However I heard golfer Tony Finau talk about how bad the injury is (don’t google that vid) and it sounds horrific
AI on google says “A dislocated ankle is generally considered more severe than a broken ankle due to the increased risk of complications like nerve and blood vessel damage, and potentially poorer functional outcomes”

So he missed most his first season in 2020 with a foot injury.
Then got a stress fractutre in his foot half way through 2021, which also made him miss the first half of 2022.
Then he had stress fractutres in his back in 2023 as well as having an ankle reconstruction.
Now this.
He hasn’t had a lot of luck, the poor guy.

Is it possible that the injury won’t be as bad as it looked?
Unless that second landing on the bent joint smashed it to smithereens.

Dislocation sounds better, but an ankle dislocated like that sounds like a lot of tears
