That’s frustrating that you guys are implying we are ■■■■■ because we question his role in the team because he is injured.
It has stuff all to do with the injury he shouldn’t have been in the side for at least the last month and in my opinion probably doesn’t deserve a contract next year either.

Yeah I agree. Sadly we can’t have an unlimited side with unlimited budget and if we accept players that are not making the team better then we all go without watching a finals win another year.

ESSENDON has been working through a contract extension for Harrison Jones, who went down with a dislocated ankle last week.
Fortunately the setback is only expected to sidelined Jones for four-to-six weeks after he dodged more serious injuries, with talks ongoing on an extension.
Jones has a two-year offer to remain at the Bombers through to the end of 2027, when he will reach free agency.
More fuel for the ‘Bradford Scott sucks’ raging inferno.

The guy is a failed forward and below average wing so it looks like we set for another two years of below average output on a wing

Versatile? Just because Brad plays him in different positions doesn’t mean he is actually good at any of them

I imagine Jones will have some interest from other clubs.
But after doing the “right thing for Edwards” assume we offer Jones at least a year.
I see him more as depth, but he has been played every game available this year, so Brad rates him higher. He’s also good mates with Caddy.
Maybe he will put some work into the gym in his 6 weeks off.
The thing is - I don’t mind Harry and think he has something to offer.
There just isnt a universe where he is a winger. Play him forward or play him in the 2s FFS.
