Is this the height of the standards that Scott is enforcing? Player gets spanked weeks on end. Misses training and doesnât travel with team because he want to attend a birthday party?
Would you care if any other player traveled separately from the rest of the team?

It was probably his birthday and he was waiting for his letter from the Queen to arrive.

I would care if it:
- Caused them to miss a training session and team meetings
- The optimal travel day for peak performance was the day before but they travelled on the morning of the match
- Exceptions to âhigh standardsâ were being made because the said player was a good mate of the coach.
Letâs just hope this is a rumour and Bryan is playing instead.

Iâm pretty sure a player would schedule a later flight if it meant he could be around for a birth of a child.
The more you post this the more it becomes apparent that you lack any understanding of what âhigh standardsâ means.
It is also abundantly clear that you have one big problem, you hate our coach with a passion and look for any opportunity to say it without just saying it outright.

Yes but attending a birthday usually has a definite start time and end time where as a birthdate isnât always that predictableâŚ

- Iâm sure that ideally he would have been on the same plane as the rest.
- I donât think missing said flight constitutes the breaking of âhigh standardsââŚGoldy is 35 years old and still playing AFL in one of the toughest positions so I wouldnât be questioning the way he prepares himself regardless on whether heâs in form or not.
