Yeah he runs around like he is playing park footy with his mates. Is a few years away isd say.
He played half a game and people are putting a line through him, never change blitz.

How is this guy supposed to prove himself when he’s the only player on our list who gets promoted to the ones and never plays a full game?
Not to mention not being given consecutive games.
At least this week he should play again v Port.

The way we bring the ball out of the backline, removes the need for a second ruckman.

If the plan was to play him for less time than the sub then its simply terrible planning.

Bryan, cox and reid are the only guys who im fairly confident they will amount to nothing long term, all for varying reasons, and jones is pretty close. I just dont rate them. Like always, i would love nothing more than to be wrong

I don’t watch VFL, I don’t even think Reid is an actual player. How ■■■■■■■ long does it take from draft to playing AFL.
Can take 5 or 6 years. Look at Langford and Laverde; Langford has taken at least 4 years before he showed much and he has taken nine years to show he can be a seriously good forward. Laverde showed nothing much for various reasons for his first five seasons, and it is really only the past two after 7 years that he shows he can be a regular.
Maybe Reid needs some luck and is allowed to play many consecutive games in the firsts, before we can write him off. Cox does have the ability and give him a bit more time and it might click. Bryan is a good ruckman and can take a mark and kick. I have watched him play some very good games this year in VFL, and he needs time against the big boys, and at 21 he has the time.
Bombers were never going to win a flag this year or next, but maybe if Reid, Cox, Bryan and Jones can consistently get on the park we may know if they can win that Flag.
Sam Weideman is now 25 and while he can play, is really there until some others step up.

I guess a more fair question to ask would be , do you think he’s being given the best chance to prove your doubt wrong ?
tis not to doubt your claims, as i used to say the same thing about francis before a lot of people figured it out.
but again with francis i also did say i don’t think he’s being back in and given the chance to prove if he has it or not.
I could name probably 8 players on the list atm who i would honestly imagine they have the honest belief that the coach and coaching staff absolutely just do not rate them 1 iota and just will not give them the time of day to succeed or prove them wrong, and are just biding their time til they can be pushed off the list.
do you think that mentality would breed a healthy environment to produce the results beyond what you see ?
people crap on about how BDB has changed so much and the club has changed so much after the external review.
so far it seems like they’ve just said yep we need to focus on development and a couple of areas and um yeah, they’ve employed some ex players in development roles, what else has changed exacly on that front ?
It feels like our system gets takes a long time to get kids through the system.
Or maybe Dodoro is not very good at finding young recruits who can immediately make an impact.

In Reids case it took less then 6 months.
if they just played him 3rd tall hed have had a career since his second season

Why bring him into the team and give him so little game time? Why was he subbed out instead of Weed?
