Donāt know if anyone else just watched AFL 360 just then, but Gerard Whateley just said that Essendon would be going into this weekās game āwithout a ruckmanā or words to that effect. Iād be playing that clip to Bryza to really get him wound up.

He is so young and will take time to develop his craft and his physical presence.
But he is without a doubt the most promising young ruckman weāve had in the 2000ās and yes that includes Draper.

He would be nervous but how excited would he be at the same time.
What an opportunity, to finally get a whole game im the seniors as sole ruckman in hostile territory to test yourself.
Would be a completely different mind set to knowing youre playing 2nd fiddle to Phillips and likely to be subbed out like he has his last 2 games at senior level.
