I know most on here are on the Draper train. But I think Draper better watch out, in three years this kid could go well past him.
At 18, 202cm and 92kg he has some growing to go, he could easily end up 204-5 and 100kgs by the start of next year. He is a natural ruckman with years of craft under his belt.
I’m all in on the Bryan bandwagon!

It would be awesome if we end up having two genuine top quality ruckman in our list. I suspect Bryan will spend a fair bit of chunk forward this season to work on his forward craft.
Me too, my godson played for Eastern last year, and went through Metro with Nick (and Lachie, is good mates with LJ) so I’ve seen a lot of him the last few years, last year eastern being on the receiving end of his dominance, and as a retired old ruckman myself, I’ve always been really impressed by him. He’s the perfect balance of old school tap ruckman with new school when the ball hits the deck awareness.
He’s going to be great, I’ve got no doubt.

In the preseason hitout Nick was really good at centre bounces.
In the draft combine he was 9th for standing vertical jump and 7th for running vertical jump, against a lot of potential draftees who never made it onto a list
Its a different story at stoppages. Nick needs a lot of gym time to enable him to wrestle opponents and win the hitout.

Having big boy playing down back allows them to play two genuine ruckman.
And with Bryan and Draper both looking the goods we might also have to get creative. Maybe we can draw a line down the centre of the ground and they can play a half each. I’ll leave it up to someone else to decide which direction to split the ground in two.
Pffft, we were playing Ryder as a CHB for years before Clarkson made it cool.
