He’s literally never ever played well off an injury lay-off. Regardless of getting solid block of training in.
Should be a 2wk minimum VFL rule for him to get match fitness up and blow cobwebs out

Years of unprofessionalism & bad habits have caught up with Jake. He can’t put together any solid block of football. I have no doubt he will get injured again, before the season is finished.
We should have traded him last year, when he was a peak value.

Yep, his best position with us has been as a mid who has stints up forward. He clearly was fit or healthy enough to play in the middle, he shouldn’t of been picked.
If he’s injured, rest him up and get him right for next year
If he not injured and just unfit, he should be playing VFL

Typical come back from injury game from Jake. He should be better for the run, but why was he made to play in the VFL before playing his first senior game last season (and promptly kicked 4 first half goals v Saints), yet this season he has come off 2 significant injury spells and both times he’s been rushed straight in without any match fitness under his belt?
