Weideman has the ability to kick 70 goals. Wait and see.
Thatās a huge call given the list of players who have actually achieved that feat:

None in the last 4 seasons.
One only in each of the 3 seasons before that (Cameron 2018, J. Riewolt 2017, Buddy 2016).
If Weideman kicks 30 goals or more next season I will be extremely happy with him.

Just realised the stats I was looking at included finals. So one player in 10 years has kicked 70+ in 22 games.
But Weideman is definitely better than all those guys. And thereās no reason to believe our forward line will suck as much as it has in the past. 70 Goals is a pass mark next year.

In 1996 Gary Ablett Snr was let go by the Cats after kicking 69 goals for the season.
