He needs a dose of harden the ā ā ā ā upā¦shirked a lot of contests and afraid to put any body on his players. This debut was concerning for me. Not sure we can afford to have two half back flankers that canāt/wonāt defend. He gets one more week for me but if this continues then Brad has to pick one; Shiel or Prior and push Archie behind the ball and bring El-Hawli in.

Would prefer to judge him on one game or keep Sheil and his errant kicking.

Iāll give him a chance before I right him off. But heās going to need to do a hell of a lot of things really right for me to wipe that effort on the flank vs Newcombe from my memory. That was as bad an individual effort as I can remember.
I think they would be requesting Ridleyās son for such a tradeā¦

The one on Newcombe at half back on the boundary in the third term was simply unacceptable. Had to lay body contact at least. Find some angry pills.

A poor first game. Defended badly and only took the safest possible kick when he had the ball. Plenty to prove next week.

Doesnāt appear to be great one on one defending. In saying that, Reid and sheil were probably worse.
Currently has a 1v1 loss % of 100%
