#25 - Jaxon Prior

Aside from the Waterman goal (where he was clearly being held but didn’t play through the whistle) I thought he was pretty good.

Credit where due, he was quite good tonight.

It seems I was a bit harsh on him.

He isn’t that soft after all. Has backed into quite a few marking contests over the last three games, and his kicking is actually pretty decent.

Hope he keeps it up.

If he keeps this up Lav wont get a look

Let’s hope so.

He has a good kick to him doesn’t he? And he can defend. His footy iq is on the lower end and is definitely a confidence player.

To be fair, that’s noting against LAV because he’s been a warrior but we need to move past him as Defensive 6.

What does he offer?

He cannot play in defence, he doesn’t man up well at all, has he ever one a 1 v 1?

He hasn’t headbutted anyone on the last week, so there’s that.

Do not want to see in AFL again this season

Beaten in too many marking contests.

He’s got a nice left foot kick.
He can’t defend though, and loses so many marking contests.

We must replace him, and I don’t trust the coaches to do it.

Scott LOVES him no chance

scott plays his favourites we know this not based on form

No point discussing this plodder, genuine D grader with no upside, just hanging on to a spot. As Weidemen, Jones and other plodders before them Prior will play rain, hail or shine no matter what.

And to think some thought he was an upgrade for Kelly

Problem there was coming from Kelly it would take six upgrades to get to a b grader

We have enough list cloggers as is without bringing more in every fcking off season. Duursma excluded.

I’d rather play Laverde. At least you know he won’t shirk a contest. This bloke does continually.

Wasn’t the worst defender today

Every forward that had him dragged him back to the goal square. Tells you everything you need to know.
