Yep. He’s his father’s son. His father was also a fine HBF for the Dons, but Jaxon’s better that Michael was.

Jaxon’s strength has been locked in on a long term contract.

Don’t know what this is but yes

He isn’t doing that without a contract extension in front of him. I reckon he gets a 2 year deal in the next month.

There’s plenty of dead wood to chop and players wanting out, he should be getting a deal soon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that photo was taken at a golf course

It’s a meme with Jaxon and Brisbane from when he was there and in whiteboard gate a while ago Bronte (his mrs) was listed as his only strength

Michael Prior is better your kidding.

I said that Jaxon is better than Michael was - and I meant it. With a little luck Jaxon will do something Michael couldn’t quite manage, namely, play in an Essendon premiership team.

Michael was a no frills role player (with a nice kick), much like Jaxon. I’d say Jaxon is on track to, at minimum, match Michael’s career. Jaxon’s only 15 games behind Michael’s career tally of 90 games.

Also, Jaxon now has a hot fiancé, so he might win on a count back.

Jaxon might not like the implication that Michael’s fiancĂ©e (later wife) wasn’t hot

Personally, I be more worried if he did think his mum was hot, but maybe that’s just me.

Anyway, agreed that I probably shouldn’t have included that line in the post, so I’ll stop now.

Knowing our luck he’d do an injury getting down on one knee.

I think Perce, just like his father, Jaxon will be a very decent servant of the club in sour times and will be long gone before we’re anywhere near a premiership.

Wasn’t his Dad drafted in 92 and left at the end of 2000? Not a bad time to be around the club, I bet he regretted not coming to play in 93.

Been going pretty good imo. Last year this thread was glowing every round.

Still out of contract too

Ironically we’ll be lucky if he stays I reckon

he may stay
