I don’t know about that. Does Ararat prison have a team?

Bruhn will be playing for Collingwood one day if he makes a comeback

If you were promised a Mercedes and ended up with an 84 Camira blowing smoke, would you be happy?

This gave me some joy. Collingwood’s big footy board reactions :joy:

Interesting

That’s Wheels magazine’s Car of the Year 1982 to you!

My first car was a second hand Camira, can confirm they weren’t great

Strange take, over 300 players nominated and under 20 players got picked. I think anyone taken would be happy to go absolutely wherever. Especially when you’ve done it the long/hard way

All I am saying is that he was promised a berth at Collingwood and was most likely looking forward to it. Then ends up at Essendon. Not sure how he is feeling. I accept that he is on an AFL list now but not the one promised.

But nothing is a sure thing in a a draft, hence why it’s called a draft. I’m sure he was prepared and willing/happy to go anywhere as would’ve been anyone else selected

I wonder how long it will take for the 4 new recruits to be inducted into the ways of Essington???

Just wait for Dermie and Archies mum to attend his jumper presentation and go to the next Presidents lunch. I suppose, as a gentlemans club, we will do the right thing and invite him to social functions. But emotionally, it grates.

This is a great selection. Big strong and he can show our skinny talls how to lift weights. Jones on notice. This is what a kpf looks like

Think thread title needs to be fixed to Archer, not Archie

He said in his interview on SEN that he prefers to be called Archie.

Ah makes sense cheers for that

Should be some funny banter between Sarah Jones and Dermie over the weekend broadcasts.

Those clowns spend more time blow smoke up their own backsides or trying to one up each other rather than asking genuine questions of the person they are interviewing. It’s atrocious radio work.
