#26 - Archer May - thru 2028

Has been one of the truly shining lights this season. To me he’s shown enough that we actually have a key forward who seems to do everything you want well. Already showing elite levels of contested marking, set shot goal kicking and tackling intent - and we got it all with a mid-season pick. Perfect player to partner Caddy going forward.

Feel really bad for him. Was improving a little bit each game. Better to do the surgery and get it fixed and have him right come pre season

Yes, hopefully it doesn’t do to him what the shoulder injury did to 2MP.

Hopefully he comes back even bigger and stronger for 2027, under the new coach building the forward line around him and Nate.

This sucks but hopefully get it sorted now and fit and ready for next season.
One of the real positives this year and think he will be vitally important in the direction we head

Any worries on his long term longevity?

Nobody could possibly have any idea in this until after surgery and considerable rehab. I am sure there will be concerns but the club is in no rush to bring him back so hopefully can have him flying by November

In my experience, broken bone is better than soft tissue injuries.

May has both. Broken bone and significant ligament damage.

Sounds and smells like BS!
