Dropped or managed, it is only a word, it makes no practical difference. As for the poor treatment angle? This decision has got nothing to do with Cale’s loyalty, not should it have. This decision is not based on what is now ancient history, it is based purely on form, as such decisions should be. If anything this decision is a few weeks late in coming. Enough with the emotional tug on the heart strings. Hooker himself would not try to cling to such a defence.

I think we are in a way better position than last year. Add another good draft pick and some astute pick ups and we will be even better next year. Cheer up Nino!

Yes, this year has seen some big improvements. A little more recruiting and we will advance further next year and further in 2024. Forget 2021, it is merely a ‘growth’ year.

don’t assume anything, don’t take anything for granted, we need to impove across the board, we still have a couple of gaping holes to fill at either end of the ground and for all the optimism about the midfield they are yet to prove anything as a group. Can we find the right balance in there, can guys play roles away from the midfield and be effective as a rotation. There is cause for optimisim but there is a lot of water to go under the bridge still.
