I don’t really agree with c. It’s a nice thing to say. At the end of the day, if a player is hurt it’s going to impact their performance.

I get what people are saying, but it comes down to what you trust more.
An 80% Ridley or Redman or a 95% Baldwin or Montgomerie.
The percentages mean fitness. Not performance or capability.

Which do you think gives you the best chance to win that weekend?
Do you think we lose by more or less against a team like Geelong if we switched Ridley and Redman for Baldwin and Montgomerie?
Change the opposition to West Coast and your answer will be very different because Geelong don’t need as much opportunity to expose your weaknesses as West Coast would.
Change the opposition to someone like Gold Coast and the answer is different.

Does anyone realise Rob Forster Knight is the one who has the main say on who we draft. Dodo is literally just the deal guy not the one who is finding the talent in the first place

Dodo is literally the General Manager of recruitment. He is RFK’s direct boss & so has direct input into each & every recruitment decision.

You wish you really knew don’t you.

You wish you could be absolutely 100% adamant that Dodoro in all his delegations, authorisations and powers, under a job description that you don’t have access to (and you won’t, no matter what’s publicly available), could qualitatively say that he’s responsible for every drafting and trading failure at Essendon up to date.
