#27 Mason Redman - till end 2028

Maybe its time you got the help you need.

We’ll if you aren’t his man then he truly has nobody left! You’ve been backing him when all others have packed it in.

every few games, redman just seems to just lose the plot

he tried to handball, directly through two geelong players, there was no space, 0

he then half ass goes to tackle the geelong player he just handballed to, it slips and they kick a goal

it was just one of those redman games from there

that and the stupid free kicks he gives away, that prevents him from being worth so much, but hopefully that will get better in time, seems more of a running off hb link up player as opposed to an in tight defender under constant pressure.

Mason Redman is 26 in a few weeks and coming up to 100 games. Not sure he will get any better than he is now. He is a good player but no champion and is not elite.

Yep, if Adelaide are willing to pay enough to trigger a first round compo pick then let him go…or match it and trade for someone.

It’s laughable that some actually believe that we would have the currency to trade for pick 1.

Parish, Redman and our first rounder?

Agree, it is not inconceivable, Parish or Redman, 2023 1st and 2024 1st would be a strong case to put to WCE

Do you actually believe either Parish or Redman would agree to join West Coast?

I think so much depends on where we finish this year. If we make the 8 (:crossed_fingers:) then Parish or Redman leaving becomes problematic with compo.

However, if we do drop out, the ladder is so tight that we could conceivably get another top 6/7 pick. That would make things really interesting.

Again, not the end of the world if either left.

They’ll probably be successful again before we are

100 percent that’ll be the case but I don’t think you can sell West Coast to any player right now, unless it’s a cooked 30 plus year old looking to top up the retirement fund

Referring to their compensation.

Still think you need to top 5 pick to enter the conversation and then another top 10 to get them even remotely interested. A team like North would be able to accomodate them

Not sure about that…you lot a far to slow to pick it up within a couple of months.

They don’t need to…could get a 3rd club involved. Plus Redman and Parish aren’t in the right age bracket for West Coast.

Don’t make plans for 2024 Dylan Shiel.

It is unlikely; but, we have to take a shot. 2 top ten picks and a future 1st, is a very strong hand, and, as I understand it, the 3 kids WCE are interested in are all ranked in and around the top 10-15 (@THE_DON1 would know better than me). The problem could be Freo who will have an earlier selection as they could cherry pick the top WA kid.
As for North, why would anyone want to go there? I can see Wardlaw wanting out ASAP.

But how are you getting your premium draft picks to get West Coast talking, picks outside the top 10 won’t interest them, you’re going to most likely need two top 5 picks to get them to the table.
