Doesnt give a toss, not on his own
I donāt think thatās true, heās just horribly weak mentally. Five years is a laugh.
Wish he went to the crows when he had some currency.
He is terrible
Donāt know what happened to him but heās been gifted a game for a long time now. Has zero care and should have traded
Redman has a 3 year cycle. One year awful, One year good, One year injured.
Given our track record of long term contracts we will get 2x bad years, 2x injured years and 1x good year.
He aināt Robinson Crusoe there.
Welcome to Bradās Worldā¦
Went to his head when everone fussed over his contract. Too cool for school now, doesnt go a hard as used to. Ih he has an underlying issue then sorry Mason, but hes out there serving up nothing close to what he should be⦠not on his own mind you
Saw how mentally weak he was in the covid year and heās actually going worse than that now.
Heās looked disengaged for most of the season. Makes me wonder if thereās something in the background we donāt know about. Has lost his exuberance and dash. At his best, he would lead by example. Now, heās mostly ordinary and a borderline selection the way heās playing.
I will say I have been a long time fan. But it couldnāt be clearer to me now, he doesnāt care.
He has the talent, but he just does not care.
Trade him. Get him out of the club.
Not on his own. Anyone that does not care needs to jog on.
One of the many brain dead defenders we have
Please fk off back home to SA
This guy has had a horror year. Never got above adequate. Would keep though. If next season is the same, delist.
WTF has happened to this bloke?
He used to be one we could depend on to crack in no matter what.
Where is the Reddog that used to smash contests, chase and tackle hard, back in to packs and mark the ball?
Now he spends more time running around looking for cheap handballs, and pays scant attention to his direct opponent.
He is either playing through injury (he does not look like he is moving freely) or has to be dropped to the 2ās.
Absolutely would not surprise if he asked for a trade back to SA.
He has looked very lackadaisical far too often, like that kick in yesterday.
He is a better player than what he has shown this year.
thatās been him for the last 3 odd years now, so thatās not new.
bar mcgrath, none of our defenders actually play close to their opponents, itās obviously a directive, a ā ā ā ā one, but still a directive. Ridley was equally bad last night, before his injury.
Yeah thatās not true though is it. Certainly this year he has been well below his best but to say heās been unaccountable for 3 years is an exaggeration.
There is no way the club is paying him out 3 years.
well no itās not, cos iāve said it for the last 3 years, cos iāve seen it for that long.
used to get flamed for it, cos you know āomzād a defender getting 30 possies makes him super duper awesomeā.
heās been a defensive liability for at least 3 years., if not more

No he hasnāt. Our defensive issues over the last 3 years have been about our pressure further up the ground and before that our inability to find a mark up on the wing. I donāt judge good defenders based on their possession count so I couldnāt tell you how many he gets. But his defensive marking and positioning have always been good. If anything has let him down in the last 3 years itās been his brain fades when it comes to disposing of the ball; either from kick ins or off the half back flank.
And peeps were willing to bag out massimo for being poor defensively. Redman has been like this consistently throughout his career, but we get sucked in by his long range goals. Heās such an overrated player and escapes a lot of criticism on here. Yet people are also making excuses, injuries or blaming someone else like martin affecting how he plays. FFS heās a defensively weak player who we shouldnāt have offered a long-term contract to.
Still remember his interview with the guys on the Lunchtime catchup podcast and how he admitted something along the lines that he was tired of being mediocre, mate youāre part of the problem.
