#27 Mason Redman - till end 2028

While Redman should be expected to be a better 1:1 defender, I put some of his form slump on Brad.

Brad’s preference for Mcgrath and Martin to be our attacking play makers off halfback just isn’t understanding where your player’s strengths are.
Redman is better when he’s attacking, Mcgrath is a better 1:1 player/not the best kick and Martin is a better winger/half forward.
And I think this shuffle has come at the expense of Redman’s natural game.

Or he’s trying to get him to defend first which he’s primary job, if he is spiking it up because others are ahead of him for a role either work for it and earn it or nick off

This guy is the biggest sook on our list. Hope he just nicks off. Wants to do the flashy stuff not the hard stuff. Is also part of the party group

I’d love to know the demands and expectations that Brad Scott is putting on the players. Apart from results not mattering.

To play more as a 1v1 defender instead of always doing the flashy stuff?

Saad left for the same reason when Rutten said he needed to be more 1v1

This surprises me and I’ve never heard that about him. At underage level he was one of the most dedicated and professional kids that many had seen. He worked harder than others and had a huge drive to become a good footballer. Now he just seems not interested

Half back flankers easiest position to draft.

Dumb AF not to trade this guy whilst his value was high last year and Crows were a buyer.

Probably because the club doesn’t support their own in the face of the corrupt tribunal system.
Imagine if your employer didn’t have your back, would you give 2 fuxs?

It is sad the change in him. He does really need to go home by the look of it.

Add to that the pasting he has copped in the media this week.

Jones Guelfi Perkins and Cox need to be moved on

Maybe it’s not the players, maybe it’s the club

A straight swap for one of their backman will do.

It’s the players, same stuff happens year on year regardless of coach so there’s only one group that is the constant

It’s what happens when you end up at a club full of leaders who have given up trying to win and are there for a good time.

A kid like Mason was would have flourished if he had leaders like Hodge or Selwood

Elmer Fudd

Mason was doing a bit of backline coaching for the VFL this afternoon.

Coaching?

Perhaps he was trying to learn something.

Sounds like Millicent will be happy to see that

I hate this talk, because literally no one was calling for him to be traded halfway through last year when he was getting close to AA form, and everyone celebrated when he resigned.

He resigned?

I wonder if he would be open to going back to South Australia. Would be a very useful chip if we’re keen on Houston.
