It’s good to see them up and about in all the results, just hope they can provide the same results on the field with a ball in their hand.
KAV?
Yep, he will finally come good and have a cracking year and wind up at Port Adelaide next year.

Didn’t realise we accidentally merged the Ryder and Kav threads together.

WHere is the evidence of this? The previous post in this thread was posted a month ago. Was a post deleted between yours and that one?

I think he’s referring to Kav finishing 2nd in the 2km time trial yesterday morning.
His girlfriend ditching him a couple of months ago for James “The Missile” Magnussen might also have contributed to the attitude change

Magnussen is a flog.
Kavs always been fit.
So what’s actually different?
Nada?
His fitness wasn’t the issue with Bomber. Maybe Hirdy won’t put as much emphases on his hardness.
Still can’t see him getting a spot.
He may always have been fit. But you wouldn’t expect to see him (or Ariel for that matter) up the top of some of the activities on that day.
Now it may just have been the order they did them in, but still, I’d consider it a fair step up for the kid.

Hopefully he does because that’s the one area of his game where he’s letting himself down. He won’t make it unless he can make some big improvement there.
Kavs issue is intensity. Always has been. Fix that and hhe’d probably bbea ten times better player
Good on him. Hope it translates on-field in 2015.
Sometimes, it just comes down to a change of Coach. I think we might see a different player this year.
It’s possible he’s doing a GO’D type apprenticeship. Just give the kid a go. He can play

Definately the worst defence I’ve heard of him not getting a game. If he could play, he would be. Look at zach merrett. Overtook him in one season simply because he makes a impact when he plays.
I think it is all mental.
He played a seniors game mid season and was dropped for the next one.
I saw him walking into the VFL match the following week (Port Melbourne I think). He had a look on his face and body language of zero interest. It was the look you see on the players when they walk off the ground after a bad loss - and the game was an hour from starting!
You would think the attitude would be “I am close…another good game here and I am back in the seniors…” or even “screw them…I can show them I can play…” not “I don’t want to be here…”
He seems like a good kid - so I don’t think it was the sense of entitlement “I deserve to be playing seniors” it simply looked like he had no interest at all.
